An idea for Virtual Reality

Salvia could be part of the key to Virtual reality , since it is a short lasting but long experiencing drug that causes intense hallucination. The problem is rather simple we can't control where it takes us since it appears rather random, but we could in fact use other drugs and mixtures with Salvia to enable a sort of orientation mechanism through the mindscape, since each chemical reacts a certain way with salvia and creates different worlds to explore. This may however make it addictive depending on the drug used , so then we would need to control its use through regulation and time frames , so as to avoid tolerance and addiction, unfortunately it would still be available on the streets but then it would be your choice to misuse the drug and not follow recommended usage. Obviously drugs would have to be legal and controlled for something like that to work well. I do not recommend experimenting with that since I don't actually know how or if it even works.
